How to fulfil your duties?
Novel of the Waste Act imposes new duties on producers and importers of batteries and accumulators. REMA Battery can fulfil all these duties on behalf of your company, except for the duties stated in § 31a, §31b a §31c, concerning banning certain types of batteries or accumulators from the market, labelling and technical documentation of batteries and accumulators.
How does the system work?
- Upon your request, REMA Battery will send you an Agreement, which will allow us to undertake all your legal obligations regarding take- back of batteries and accumulators.
- Upon the Agreement, you will send us a quarterly online report on the amount of batteries or accumulators put on the market in the
- You will pay a recycling fee for each piece of batteries or accumulators put on the market. Recycling fee will be charged quarterly by an invoice.
There is no lump sum or yearly payment. The amount of payment is directly dependent on the amount of batteries or accumulators put on the market in the

REMA Battery is entitled to operate Collective System for taking back of batteries and accumulators upon decision of Ministry of Environment from 15.12.2009.
